Sessions

A session is a project: a folder with its own tabs and splits. New sessions get a name like brisk-wren until you rename them.

Shells run outside the app, so quitting or updating Birdie leaves them running.

Tabs can sit across the top or down a sidebar (⌃⌘S folds it).

Overview

Every terminal in a grid, updating live. Space peeks at one without switching to it.

    Agents

Agents and other programs report what they're doing with OSC 7501, and Birdie shows it on their tab: working , done , failed or waiting for you .

When one finishes or needs you, Birdie posts a notification. ⌘J goes to the next terminal that needs you.

    Inspector

⌥⌘I shows the foreground process, how long it has run, where its program was installed from, and its CPU and memory use.
